The Tiki Yard sprouted in the Arizona desert in summer 2020, though it wasn't until early 2021 that Jeremy's tropical vision truly took root. Beginning with banana plants and other tropical varieties available exclusively through local delivery, The Tiki Yard quickly became Arizona's unexpected new source for banana plants and other tropical plants.

For the first two years, The Tiki Yard focused on helping local plant enthusiasts create their own backyard tropical escapes, showing that with the right care, a piece of paradise could thrive even in the Arizona summers.

In 2023, Jeremy began weaving a new thread into The Tiki Yard's story by introducing Hawaiian-inspired apparel & décor to the product lineup. This wasn't an abrupt change but a natural evolution, extending the tropical lifestyle from garden to wardrobe and home. These unique designs began attracting attention beyond Arizona's borders.

By 2024, The Tiki Yard had blossomed into a lifestyle brand, with Hawaiian shirts and apparel becoming signature offerings alongside the original plant selection. The business expanded to in-person events for the first time, connecting directly with the community that had supported it from the beginning.

The Tiki Yard's growth accelerated dramatically in November 2024, marking a turning point for the brand. This momentum continued through the holiday season and into 2025, with the brand's unique blend of traditional patterns and creative themes capturing widespread attention. New Arizona-themed shirts celebrated the brand's desert roots while appealing to a broader audience while The Tiki Yards unique Hawaiian inspired designs were turning heads everywhere.

Today, Tiki Yard Apparel Company reaches customers across the country through multiple channels, though it remains proudly Arizona-based. What began as a local plant delivery service has evolved into a distinctive lifestyle brand that brings island vibes to the desert and beyond, proving that with the right vision, paradise can bloom anywhere.

Jeremy, the creative force behind The Tiki Yard, is a dedicated skateboarder in Mesa Arizona and snowboarder (when he's able to step away from the desert) with a deep love for bold, expressive design. He brings a hands-on approach to shaping the brand’s apparel and décor, blending creativity, outside-the-box thinking, and tropical inspiration to fuel The Tiki Yard’s unique style and spirit.
