The Florida Special Pineapple was specifically developed for Florida Pineapple production by Libby Fruit Company. The prized pineapple produces golden fleshed fruit with enormous flavor. Pineapple is very easy to grow in Arizona and requires very little water. The fruit has striking bright red accents making this a true eye catcher in the garden. When the fruit is ripening it can handle temperatures into the mid 30's without internal damage.
